MESSENGER:  MY HANDLE         

  I have been driving since 1963. My handle was "Gigalo" until 1994.
I did not allow women to keep me,but I was extremely treacherous.
 When I met Pat,now my wife, she refused to accept that handle.Out
of respect for her and the Lord Jesus she served,I changed it to"mes-
senger".I figured that God could use me to carry His message.I had no idea that He would change my life so drastically!One night in a bar
I had a guy on the floor sitting on top of him...about to cut his throat
when I heard the voice of the Lord,"Joe you're too old you need to
change". I knew it was God!Five or six people were trying to get me off the guy... my cousin sustained gashes in her leg ...and had to have
35 stitches. I got off him, when I heard God, and went home.I had to go to the police department later that night....but my cousin would not
press charges,I only had to pay her medical bill.The Lord spared me.
I fully intended to kill the guy!! Thank the Lord for His mercy.I have not been to a bar,or had a drink of liquor since that night.I gave my heart to the Lord Jesus...I told Him if He cleared me of that ...I would never have to pray to Him about that again....and I haven't.He is faithful and will keep you ,if you let Him.
 He will save you too!! All you have to do is believe  in your heart that God sent His son,Jesus, to die for your sins and that He arose from the dead  and is now at the Father's right hand in heaven.Ask Him to come into your heart...and save you. He will do it!!
